Tradition meets contemporary creativity
Neapolitan ceramics have a long and vibrant tradition, rooted in centuries of craftsmanship, decorative art and Mediterranean culture.
Today, a new generation of artists is reinterpreting this heritage through contemporary forms, colours and experimental techniques, creating a dialogue between past and present.
The course takes place at Casa Cometa, in the heart of Naples’ Quartieri Spagnoli, with Neapolitan artist and maker Terry Di Renzo.
Working with ceramics and resin, Terry reinterprets the city’s religious icons, ex-votos and spiritual imagery through a colourful contemporary language where the sacred and the profane meet.
